Costs

In Europe, truck drivers must have a Code 95 Certificate to drive trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes. The certificate is valid for five years and must be added to the driver's license category C or C+E. The certificate can be added to C1 or C1E licenses, allowing the driver to drive with lighter trailer combinations.
To obtain a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and take a psychotest. To be able to offer a course of training that issue Code 95, you must adhere to certain guidelines as a trainer. You must first submit a training plan to the CBR. The training plan must be approved prior to the beginning of classes. You must also adhere to other strict guidelines throughout the course.
You will receive a certificate from the CBR when you have completed the course successfully. This certificate can be sent to the RDW. After submitting the form successfully, you'll be able to renew your license with the municipality. If you don't renew your license by the expiry date, you will not be able to legally drive more than 12 hours a week. You'll have to take another training course if you wish to drive more than 12 hours a week again.
Exams
